Savannah Patterson

My Passion for Creativity

Actress | Filmmaker | Director

Savannah Patterson is an Ohio-based actress, director, and arts educator who believes wholeheartedly in the power of storytelling. Currently represented by Heyman Talent Agency, her work spans on camera, stage, and classroom, all rooted in a deep commitment to arts education.

Most days, you’ll find Savannah in a rehearsal room—either at Licking Valley High School, where she serves as Drama Department Director, or at Weathervane Playhouse, where she works as Theatre Team Lead. In both spaces, her focus remains the same: creating environments where people feel seen, challenged, and capable of more than they thought possible.

Her foundation in performance began with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Kent State University, later expanding through Film & TV and Business of Entertainment studies at NYU Tisch. She is currently pursuing her Master of Public Administration at Ohio University, driven by a mission to strengthen and sustain the role of the arts within public life and education systems. She believes all people deserve access to education, the arts, and spaces where they are treated with dignity and given the opportunity to grow.

A proud member of the Educational Theatre Association, Women in Film, Theatre Communications Group, and The Performing Arts Alliance, Savannah’s work is less about titles and more about impact. Whether she’s directing, teaching, or performing, she leads with intention, curiosity, and a strong sense of responsibility to the next generation of artists.

Beyond the arts, Savannah is a passionate advocate for conservation and environmental justice, believing strongly in the power of storytelling to spark change. Her ultimate goal is to create work that uplifts, entertains, and empowers—using her platform to inspire others and protect the world we share.

At the end of the day, it all comes back to telling stories that matter and making sure more people have the chance to tell theirs.

Check Out My Newest Endeavor as the Pop Culture Scholar!

For a while now, I’ve felt a pull toward a more cinematic way of living that is shaped by my theatre roots, chaotic lifestyle, and passion for activism and advocacy. The result? A pop-culture persona framed in intimate yet cinematic aesthetics, viewing the world through a distinctly “Spielbergian” lens.

I hope to grow this into my own little universe centered on my love of film and theatre -- leading me back to screenwriting and film directing, launching a film & theatre centered blog & podcast, and eventually building my own production company. But for now, I’m starting slow and closing out the year with my 2025 review of movies I saw in theaters.
